THE VOICE OF THE VOICELESS FOUNDATION ORGANIZED A DEBATE AND SPELLING COMPETITION FOR THREE UNPRIVILEGED GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS IN WESTERN URBAN AREA, SIERRA LEONE

After the hectic eleven years of civil war in Sierra Leone, which resulted in a huge number of death and amputation of innocent people, the evil act has left no peace and betterment platforms for the survival of war-wounded victims and orphans.

The Voice of the Voiceless Foundation focuses on making a change for the betterment of these people. Thus, the organization was founded by a humanitarian CEO, Isatu Bah Deen, who is also a victim of the civil war and wishes to raise a proper platform to help the underprivileged in all scheme of developmental projects, such as debates and spelling bee competitions to hint out the greater picture of education.

On the 28th of March 2021, the Voice of the Voiceless Foundation organized a debate and spelling bee competition for three underprivileged schools in western urban areas in Sierra Leone. This competition was organized for these schools mainly because many of these involved pupils were homeless, dying from hunger, and orphans. The schools involved were Amaraia Primary School, Hizbullah Islamic Primary School, and Fire Stone Primary School. These schools are in the pit of suffering without proper learning, a conducive environment, and promotions. In this mentioned fact, the Voice of the Voiceless Foundation awarded a huge sum of money and school materials to the different participating schools as a way to raise growth in education in Sierra Leone.

In this event, it was well worthy to see the children using the debate as a platform to voice out their feelings and let the government know and feel their pain. And also the spelling bee, which sent a message of transitional learning growth.

The young marginalized girl by the name of MARIAMA KAMARA won the first position representing the Hizbullah Islamic Primary school for the debate and the boy named IBRAHIM KARGBO also won the first position for the spelling bee competition representing Fire Stone Primary School. School materials and money was awarded to the different participating schools and the competitors as well.

Education is a weapon to change, and the Voice of the Voiceless Foundation focuses on this campaign to welcome formative developmental growth nationwide.

THE VOICE OF THE VOICELESS FOUNDATION DONATES BAGS OF RICE, PLASTIC PRAYER KETTLE, AND PLASTIC PRAYER MATS TO SIX DIFFERENT UNDERPRIVILEGED MOSQUE IN SIERRA LEONE AS A WAY TO WELCOME THE RAMADAN FASTING MONTH FOR MUSLIMS

As fasting is the most essential pillar for Muslims globally, the Voice of the Voiceless Foundation, which is based in America, donates bags of rice, plastic prayer kettle, and plastic prayer mats to underprivileged mosques nationwide in Sierra Leone.

The initiator and CEO, Isatu Bah Deen, sees this as a way to support the homeless and orphan Muslims nationwide.

Sierra Leone is a death trapped country where many people live a disadvantaged life. The economy is doomed and all institutions towards development are depreciating daily. After the civil war, which has lead to the killing of an uncountable number of innocent souls and also left a high rate of disability in Sierra Leone, makes no difference towards the present frustrating times. Sierra Leone has a huge number of Muslims who are homeless and starving to death in the streets, as well as orphans who cannot provide for themselves. As a way to help during the month of fasting, the Voice of the Voiceless Foundation donates over a hundred bags of rice at different mosques for the homeless and orphans to cook and eat during the blessed month. Also, over a hundred plastic prayer kettles and plastic prayer mats were given to Muslims nationwide.

On the 13th of April 2021, the Voice of the Voiceless Foundation donated bags of rice, plastic prayer kettle, and plastic prayer mats to six underprivileged mosques, which are the Taqwaa Masjid mosque, Hizbullah mosque, Foulah Town Mosque, Fullah Mosque, Mou wharf mosque, and Hill station mosque. These mosques were represented by their Imams and other contributing elders.

This event was chaired by Imam Mohamed Bangura who spoke about the benefit of helping the underprivileged Muslims, and welcome the other involving mosques with also a blessing of words and prayers for the CEO Isatu Bah Deen and team in Sierra Leone. It was added to by different speakers representing the other different mosques.

As per the Executive Director, the essence of the donations and the on-the-way programs is to strengthen this call.

Hunger is a massive problem in Sierra Leone and the Voice of the Voiceless Foundation is calling on all philanthropists to come and help.

THE VOICE OF THE VOICELESS FOUNDATION DONATES WHEELBARROWS TO THUGS AND HOMELESS YOUTH AS A WAY OF CHANGING LIVES IN SIERRA LEONE

The eleven years of civil war left room for hunger, homelessness, and a higher death ratio in Sierra Leone. This has made youths in Sierra Leone resort to different misdeeds for survival. Sierra Leone is currently full of thieves, corruption, and prostitution of youths who are homeless and orphans after the war.

On the 22nd of April of 2021, the Voice of the Voiceless Foundation donates hundreds of wheelbarrows to the youth in Sierra Leone who are victims of the aforementioned situation.

The Chairman of the youth, Mr. Sampha Jalloh, sees this life-changing event as room for lucrative development. He spoke that he always has this thought but cannot afford to restore provisions, and that is why he is grateful to the CEO, Isatu Bah Deen, and the team for their aiding ventures for the youth.

Different speakers from the attended youths spoke about other work mechanisms, such as commercial vehicles, grinding machines, loans, and fees for them to go back to school.

Also, the Voice of the Voiceless Foundation team here in Sierra Leone spoke about finding helping hands to their cries and blessed the CEO, Isatu Bah Deen, for such a developmental lucrative platform.
